Out of passion for the printed object, "Riko de Janeiro" began collecting graffiti fanzines as early as the mid-nineties. Over the years, he amassed an amazing collection of rare graffiti publications.
In the last five years, his passion developed into the idea of publishing his own publications. In 2020, the idea of making a book became more concrete. More about that later...
The Instagram channel "Munich Graffiti Library" was created to make the collection available to a larger audience for research purposes. In the long run, the goal will be to enrich the collection with new unique books through the sale of own publications. Furthermore, it is planned to found a support association to position the project "Munich Graffiti Library" in high cultural contexts or museums.
We want to give these unique graffiti publications the space they deserve. An almost unbelievable flood of publications of a unique art form whose beginnings date back half a century.
